Carling Black Label, South Africa’s biggest beer brand, has formalised its 10-year relationship with the National Blackball Federation (NBF) in a 3-year sponsorship deal to the value of R1,5-million. Andrea Quaye, Carling Black Label’s general manager, presented NBF president, Saths Reddy, with a cheque, at SAB, Sandton on Friday 2 September.
“We’re delighted to solidify our long-standing relationship with the NBF,” Quaye confirmed. The sponsorship enables Carling Black Label to brand pool tables and pool merchandise and to activate the brand in taverns throughout South Africa, aligning with the strategic priority of intensifying communications for Carling Black Label in on-premise outlets. “Carling Black Label now also holds the title as the official beer sponsor at all events hosted by the NBF, providing us with exclusive beer activation and branding rights,” Quaye continued. “We look forward to once again working with Carling Black Label. The NBF truly values the brand’s commitment to the sport of blackball and hopes to provide Carling Black Label with a good return on its investment,” Reddy stated. Carling Black Label, South Africa’s biggest beer brand, is the most awarded beer with 20 international awards for its superior taste and consistent quality.
